Citizen Eco-Drive Men’s 200 Meter Watch #BM6210-56E The Citizen Eco-Drive 200 Professional Diver stainless steel men’s watch is rugged enough for diving expeditions, but stylish enough for everyday and dress wear. It offers water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet), suitable for scuba diving. And thanks to the solar-powered Eco-Drive, it will never need a battery change. This large, round silver watch measures approximately 1.7 inches wide, and it’s topped by a unidirectional rotating elapsed time bezel with black accents. The wave-patterned black dial face is supplemented with large, luminous hands (with seconds hand) and a mix of luminous stick and Arabic numeral markers, as well as a magnified date function at 3 o’clock. It also offers a tapered silver stainless steel bracelet band that’s joined by a safety foldover clasp with push-button closure. Other features include a screw-back case, screw-down crown, and scratch resistant mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating.

This watch is powered by Citizen’s unique Eco-Drive, which absorbs sunlight and any artificial light through the crystal and dial to recharge the watch continuously. With regular exposure to light, the Eco-Drive continuously recharges itself for a lifetime of use. This watch’s Eco-Drive provides a 180-day power reserve, and it can be recharged with just 1.5 hours of exposure to light.

Eco-Drive Frequently Asked Questions
How can you tell if the Eco-Drive watch is getting enough light? In normal use, the watch displays the time and the sweep-second hand moves in one second intervals. A very important feature of Eco-Drive is the Low Charge Warning Mode which as a result of low battery voltage, causes the second hand to jump two seconds at a time (while still keeping correct time).

How long will an Eco-Drive watch run after it is fully charged?
If your watch is put away where no light is available to it while in a fully charged state, depending on the model, it will run for from 45 days to 5 years.

How can the Eco-Drive watch be recharged?
Besides sunlight, it can be safely charged by exposing it to a fluorescent desk lamp, with the dial (face) up and within about 8 inches or an incandescent lamp (regular light bulb) no closer than 20 inches. Never use a halogen lamp since the heat generated by it can cause damage to your watch. The most efficient and the quickest is in direct bright sunlight (not windowsill) and never on the dashboard of a car.

Warranty
It’s backed by Citizen’s 5-year warranty (from original date of purchase).

Most recently, Citizen has released watches powered by its Eco-Drive, which runs continuously in any kind of natural light or artificial light for a lifetime of use without changing a battery.
Customer Review: Be aware. Citizen may not back this watch if…
I purchased the previous version of this watch over a year ago. Last spring I took my son out wakeboarding (he was in a wetsuit) while the water was still very cold. He injured himself so while wearing the Citizen watch I dove into the water to help him. Immediately water crept in and fogged up my crystal. Rust set in right away. I went to the local Citizen dealer and they sent the watch in for me. Citizen did not cover any expenses (I was out the shipping cost) saying that they do not cover this under warranty because we’re not supposed to go from a warm air environment to a cold one. When I dove in it was about 70 degrees outside and the water was about 55 degrees. That’s only a 15 degree difference.

Customer Review: Great Buy!
I checked jewelry stores and this particular watch on Amazon was around $50.00 cheaper. My husband really likes it and it isn’t too bulky and the blue face really makes it stand out.
Customer Review: Men’s Citizen watch
What a great product for the price. Its a beautiful watch, and well worth the money. I’ve priced the same watch elsewhere, and the cheapest I found was $40 more. For the price, I don’t think I could have found a nicer watch and my friend that I gave it to loves it.

Citizen Eco-Drive Women’s Silhouette Sport Watch #EW1170-51X Customer Review: Great Gift
I purchased this for myself and love it. The only reservation is that it is a little heavier than watches that I have had in the past.
Customer Review: Attractive, comfortable watch.
I’ve had this watch for a month. I’m very happy with it. The pushbutton that opens the fold-over clasp is so easy to use. I had some links removed and it fits me perfectly without turning on my wrist. It’s very comfortable, and I love the appearance. I have thin wrists and the size is not overwhelming.

Customer Review: The Sun’s Time Has Come
When husband needed a watch and his birthday was approaching, I laid my eyes on this one after some research. I love the idea of never needing a battery for a watch. Husband told me that he loves this watch several times since.

Customer Review: The ultimate time teller
The ultimate watch. After years of getting new watches every other year, I finally found my time teller to stay. Just do yourself a favor and get the metal band to begin with. It costs an additional $100 to get it separately.
Customer Review: Awesome watch!
This watch is my favorite watch I own… I own a Tissot T-touch and I like this even more… I love that it has all of the time zones and they are quite easy to access. I live Switzerland, but all of my family is in the States. It’s nice to have the analogue time set to the Swiss time, but have the digital display show Central time in the U.S. This is definitely my favorite feature… I highly recommend this watch…

Customer Review: Citizen Eco-Drive Calibre 8700
Excellent watch. It arrived right on time and in perfect condition. I gave this as a present and the only thing negative mentioned was that it was kind of a heavy watch. Other than that he loved it!
Customer Review: Terrific Watch with a Lots of Appeal
I bought this watch (my first Citizen) 6 months ago and I think I love it more with each passing day. It is gorgeous and has many useful features. Very eye catching, very sturdy and rugged, and seems to be built with high quality materials. My wife loves it as much as I do. I found it easy to size the watch myself using an ordinary thumb tack and small needle nose pliers. Very pleased with this high quality product from Citizen. I am now a customer for life.
